Gemstone Guide

To assist us in holding light in our bodies, the Divine Presence has entrusted the nature spirits with the task of forming gemstones within the Earth for our use. Explore the gemstones that the beloved Ascended Masters use to help awaken and develop our chakras—the true spiritual gemstones within us.

Diamond

The diamond is considered the highest-vibrating crystal, symbolizing strength of mind and body, courage, fortitude and spiritual power.

Known in Sanskrit as Vajra, meaning “thunderbolt,” it has long been associated with divine protection, inducing purity, fearlessness and clarity of purpose.

In spiritual tradition, the diamond represents the focus of God’s Will and the perfect balance of the Alpha-Omega centered in our throat chakra. It is especially used by El Morya and the First Ray, embodying Divine Power. Although it is also used in all of the other Rays of Light.

The diamond also symbolizes the crystal clarity of the soul and the precipitation of the Christ consciousness, our inner pattern.

Sapphire

The sapphire is a gemstone of the First Ray. It has a calming effect upon the mind, promotes clear thinking, strengthens the will, and expands awareness of higher realms.

Throughout history, sapphire was worn by kings as a symbol of protection and as a defense against harm.

In spiritual tradition, sapphire provides strength and protection through life’s trials and temptations. It is associated with the star of the causal body and is an indispensable gemstone for those who serve with Archangel Michael. Sapphire also attracts the rays of Sirius. Although it is especially associated with the First Ray, sapphire is also used in the Second Ray, which is yellow in color.

Sapphire and ruby are both varieties of corundum. While the ruby is red, all other colors of corundum are known as sapphire. Blue sapphire receives its color from traces of iron and titanium.

Ruby

Ruby is a gemstone of intense Divine Love. In the Hindu tradition, it is believed to strengthen the heart and support healthy blood circulation.

It is said to awaken courage, help dispel sadness, and assist in transcending sensuality. Ruby is also known to promote concentration, mental strength, and a greater sensitivity to subtle energies.

In spiritual tradition, ruby focuses the Ruby Ray and helps us attune to the path of the secret rays and to an intensity of Love that transcends the pink ray to reach the deeper frequency of the ruby ray. It is also used in the Third Ray, which is pink in color; the Sixth Ray, which is purple and gold; and the Eighth Ray, associated with a soft pink-orange hue.

The energy of the ruby is powerful and intense. For this reason, the Ascended Masters teach that it should be used with discernment and balance. Due to its intensity, ruby may activate the astral levels more rapidly than the physical body can integrate, which in some individuals may manifest as irritability or anger.

Ruby and sapphire belong to the same mineral family, corundum. Ruby is the red variety of this mineral and owes its distinctive color to the presence of chromium. All other varieties of corundum are known as sapphires.

Topaz

Topaz is a gemstone associated with wisdom, illumination and mental acuity. According to ancient Hindu traditions, it is believed to promote health, caution and sagacity, as well as protect against sudden death.

During the Middle Ages, it was used to sharpen the intellect, calm anger and foster tranquility, while the ancient Greeks used it extensively for healing purposes.

In spiritual tradition, topaz is directly related to the frequency of the crown chakra and to the action of the Holy Spirit in its opening, fostering a greater connection with our Holy Christ Self, or Higher Mind, and a deeper understanding of divine truth. This gemstone is used by the beloved Ascended Master Lanto as a focus of the qualities of the Second Ray, the Yellow. Topaz is also used in the Third Ray, which is pink in color; the Sixth Ray, which is purple and gold; and the Eighth Ray, associated with a soft pink-orange hue.

Topaz symbolizes Christ illumination, the divine perception of the Self, humility, the Divine Logos, divine reason, higher understanding, cosmic consciousness, and the correct discernment between absolute good and the relative concepts of good and evil.
